Employee Success Stories
Our people make the magic happen. We’re proud to support career progression and promote from within Ascent Aviation Services.
Adolfo Arellano
Adolfo began his career with Ascent as an Aircraft Mechanic Apprentice and went on to earn his Airframe and Powerplant License, advancing into an A&P Mechanic role. Over the years, he has held a variety of positions, including Quality Control Inspector, A&P Lead, and Project Manager, before ultimately becoming Director of Maintenance. With 12 years at Ascent, Adolfo values the diversity within his department, noting that no two projects or aircraft are ever the same. What he finds most rewarding is tackling complex challenges and successfully overcoming them as a team.
Alex Dobson
Alex has built a dynamic career by growing through a variety of roles across the organization. He began in Shipping & Receiving and went on to contribute in Tooling, Stocking, and Buying, stepping into both lead and supervisor roles along the way. Alex consistently embraces new challenges, adapting quickly and learning new skills whenever the company has a need. His passion for helping others shows up in his daily work and interactions. He especially values the culture at Ascent and takes pride in collaborating with his team to successfully see projects through from start to finish.
Christine Reece
Christine Reece began her career with the company in 2011 as a Mechanic. From day one, she embraced every opportunity to expand her skillset—supporting Aircraft Disassembly, working in Interiors and Inspection, and advancing into an A&P Lead role. Throughout her journey, Christine gained hands-on experience across multiple aircraft platforms and developed a strong understanding of the processes required to successfully induct, maintain, and transition aircraft. Her adaptability and willingness to step into different roles allowed her to build a well-rounded operational background. In 2015, Christine transitioned into Planning as a Project Coordinator, supporting both storage programs and Heavy Maintenance operations. Today, she serves as a Project Coordinator (Planner) for Storage Maintenance and as a Bidder, where she plays a key role in project planning, execution, and customer support.
