David T. Querio career spans 33 years in the maintenance of transport category aircraft and management of MRO facilities and airlines.
Prior to joining Ascent Aviation Services as President in August 2016, Dave held the positions of General Manager, New Mexico operations for AerSale, Inc.; Chief Operating Officer of Silver Airways; and President & CEO of Ascent Aviation Services. Additionally, Mr. Querio has held the position of Vice President of Operations at Evergreen Air Center; Vice President & General Manager of AMS GYR facility; and Vice President, Technical Services at multiple regional airlines.
Dave is an airframe and power plant licensed technician.
Chief Financial Officer
Scott Webb is a finance professional with more than 15 years of experience in leadership and consulting roles. Mr. Webb specializes in providing interim management, interim CFO and financial advisory services to private equity backed lower middle market companies.
Previously Mr. Webb served as the managing partner of LCG Advisory Services, providing financial consulting and interim CFO services to companies across a range of industries including aviation, oil and gas, industrial services, construction, distribution, retail, and manufacturing.
Earlier professional experience includes public accounting at Deloitte and Eckerd Drug Corporation, a multi-billion-dollar pharmacy and general merchandise retailer since acquired by Rite Aid.
Vice President of Operations
Randy Buol is responsible for operations at Ascent Aviation Services. His early love of aviation took him through a successful eight year tour in the US Air Force, after which he transitioned into the commercial aviation sector. His 38 year career has taken him to many locations and have included leadership roles with both airlines and MROs. Throughout his career he has both performed and managed line and heavy maintenance operations. Randy joined Ascent Aviation Services from Melbourne, Florida where he was performing interior reconfigurations; maintenance bridging packages and aircraft exports for international airlines.
Randy is an airframe and power plant licensed technician.
Director of Maintenance—Tucson
Todd Perkins recently joined Ascent Aviation Services as the Director of Maintenance bringing over 30 years of extensive experience in all operations areas. Todd is a licensed airframe and power plant technician and holds an FCC License. With time spent working for and with airlines, MROs and FBOs, Todd’s experience covers a broad range of business and areas including line maintenance, airframe overhaul, aircraft engines, components, interiors, and back shops.
Director of Quality Control
John Owen has spent over 40 years in aviation, and possesses a wealth of experience in quality, maintenance, air carrier operations and manufacturing management, including serving as an FAA designee.
John came to Ascent Aviation Services after having spent the last seven years as Chief Inspector of a heavy maintenance MRO, and transitioned seamlessly into the challenging role of Director of Quality. John has management responsibility for quality control, training and records.
Prior to entering the commercial aviation world, John served in the US Army in various roles uncluding technician, supervisor and inspector. John's commitment to quality and safety is well known and respected throughout the aviation maintenance community.
Director of Supply Chain Management
With 12 years of Aviation industry experience, Liz leads the Ascent Aviation Services materials and purchasing group supporting the daily operational needs in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Liz has held a variety of positions relating to supply chain management within the airline and MRO industries. Mrs. Compher holds degrees in Organizational Management and Leadership and specializes in lean aircraft materials management for air carrier operations under FAR Part 121 and 135 and MRO operations under FAR Part 145. She is known for her ability to provide operational support with unparalleled attention to quality and value to customers.
Director of Human Resources
Kerriann Travis joined Ascent Aviation Services as Director of Human Resources in August 2017. Ms. Travis earned her BA in Business Administration & Management from Robert Morris University in Chicago while on a full athletic scholarship as a three sport athlete. As an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Ms. Travis touts over 15 years of in depth human resources and organizational development experience.
Ms. Travis also serves as the President/CEO of All My Children Daycare Center and as Executive Director of the Charles E. Travis Foundation for Community Enrichment.
Kerriann is staunch philanthropist, business woman, and education advocate who continues to find platforms to promote her passion for strengthening communities through public-private partnerships.
Director of Information Technology
Sue Acuna is an information technology and accounting professional with more than 20 years of management experience across a range of industries including manufacturing, aviation, banking and the medical field. Sue specializes in ERP system implementation, business process analysis and application support and deployment. Prior to working for Ascent, she worked for Texas Instruments for over 15 years in various roles including Business System Analyst, Business Application Manager, SAP Implementation Associate and Accounting Services Manager.
Director of Planning and Production Control
Teresa Thompson serves as Director of Planning and Production Control. In this role, Teresa is responsible for resource allocation, critical path development and accountability of check flow.
